Antra Ozolina was strangled by her housemate's (now ex) boyfriend, a Latvian neo-Nazi. Her housemate was convicted of helping the Nazi try to cover up the crime; the Nazi has not been charged, as the brain damage from the vehicle that hit him while he was fleeing renders him incapable of mounting a meaningful defense in court - and of getting out of bed without help.
